In between a few text messages and a can of soup I have been spending my Saturdays into Sundays trying to perfect the art of painting using the photographic technique in Dr. Martins watercolor dyes. This is one of the most challenging things I have ever done as an artist. Every piece, through blood, sweat, and tears is totally worth it!!! Above is about the half way point on my big floral piece. Behind each flower will be a dark green/almost black leaf. I'll be posting the final sometime after our last class to work on it - on Tuesday!
