At the Brooklyn Flea Market this past weekend I was drawn to this pink phone on a marble table. Something about the two things together really jumped out at me. Marble has been on my mind a lot lately. Marbleized paper is so beautiful, but it has been done and it is expected. Grey marble with this pink is beautiful.I also like the coil of the phone cord against the patterns of the marble. I can really see an accessory of some sort coming from this photo.
I love this phone. Funny thing. I met this girl who is about 24 and she had no clue how to use a rotary phone! WTF? I thought that was just ridiculous. Now I have a new understanding for Elissa and her hating of our generation.
