Marianne Faithfull

Since going blond last fall I have been following the lead of some of the most prominent blond actresses/singers through the years.  One woman that I can not get out of my head is Marianne Faithfull.  She has been singing/acting for nearly four decades now.  Her last studio album saw her singing alongside Chan Marshall, Rufus Wainwright, Antony, and others.  My favorite pic from that album entitled "Easy Come Easy Go" is the duet with Nick Cave - the song called "The Crane Wife 3". Although, her best album of all time was her 1779 release, "Broken English". If you do not have it on your i Tunes, you simply must add it!  

I chose this photo for several reasons.  I love the look on her face - so innocent and sweet.  I love the way her hair is falling perfectly straight with her bangs slightly parted in the middle.  I also adore the dalmatian sitting next to her.  I grew up with a dalmatian named Domino and he and I could have really re-created this photo.  That is if I was hip enough at 7 years old to know who Marianne was.  The dog in the photo was hers and it was taken in 1964.
