After the Holidays
This will be my first post without a photo. Trying something new. Is it as interesting without the photo? We shall see.
Now that the holidays are nearly over and 2010 approaches, it is time for New Year's Resolutions. I only have one - to throw myself head on into my passion! Stop being afraid of the unknown and take the plunge. So look out for more blog posts, new business cards featuring this blog, and new work on my website. One thing I will have to do before it is too late is see the Kandinsky exhibit at the Guggenheim. If getting there by Jan. 13th is not possible, you should watch this video: http://www.guggenheim.org/new-york/exhibitions/on-view-now/2985
Really very cool how they look at the paintings in infrared light and all of the notations he made come to life. Like how he wrote "W" under the layer of white paint as he did the layout for a painting. The Guggenheim could not be a better setting for his work! Stay tuned for the next blog post about my visit to see this!
