This is one of my absolute favorite photos from Turkey, that is why I saved it for last. I could blog about the photos and the sites I saw in Turkey for months! But I have practiced restraint and chose the best of the best. This was taken at the Topkapi Palace Harem once again - as was the photo of the tiles below. Everywhere you looked there was beauty to take in. So I made sure I looked up, down, and all around. I am not sure if this crystal Chandler is original or not - if so it is in immaculate shape. Looking back at my photos, I wish I had captured more of the mosaic tiles and painted ceilings. I treasure this photo because it is one of the only ceiling photos that I have. I also love the vantage point.
