While I was taking a break from blogging, I was spending time curating my Pinterest boards.  I see Pinterest as an opportunity to convey my aesthetic, taste level, and thought processes in order to give the viewer insight into what kind of designer I am.  One of my favorite boards is my Textile: Then & Now board http://www.pinterest.com/kerranne/textiles-then-now/

It features the work of Sonia Delaunay, Marimekko, Nathalie du Pasquier,  Gunta Stolzl, and many more of my favorites.   There are also links to really great articles that have been written over the past few months about the textile industry. The photo below was from an article about the Pierre Frey mill in France.  It is written in French, however, the photos alone are worth taking a look at it: http://magazine.pierrefrey.com/?p=5102
